You may choose to download the above directions (with pictures) or follow the directions below to open the calculator.
Directions:
1) Left Click on the
file vti.zip
2) A dialog box pops up… click Save
3) Make sure to save
it somewhere where you can find it after the file is finished downloading. I suggest on your desktop.
4) Click save.
5) Another dialog box
will pop up after the download is complete.
Click Close.
6) Go to where you
downloaded the file, and left double click the file.
7) Another dialog box
will appear.
Choose “Extract all
files”. This will create a file on your
desktop, or wherever you chose to save the file. Follow the direction your operating system
gives. Again make sure to save the file
to a place you can find it. I again
suggest your desktop.
8) To open the TI – 83
calculator double left click the icon labeled “vti Virtual TI ACZ” in the vti file.
9) Remember to turn
the calculator “on” just as you would a TI – 83.
10) To close the calculator
left click on the file that appears in your task bar. Click close.
